What is ear correction ?
An ear correction process is a surgical intervention making the open cartilaginous parts have a natural and aesthetic appearance.
Exit position of open cartilaginous parts of the ears generally form from the deformation of ear cartilage or it is subject to shaping of individual cartilage parts. Through surgery, ear cartilage is reshaped and ears are protected.
Purpose in ear correction is to eliminate the tensions within ear cartilage which come out due to disruption.
Process is realized by making a cut at the back of the ear. Afterwards, the ear is reshaped and its sizes are diminished as per the requests.
Ear correction is usually used for ear bulges and it is also used for congenital deformities and for deformities relating with other ear cartilage.
Ears with bulges are generally hereditary and they sometimes cause for others to tease the children. Ear cartilage has not crinkled sufficiently and this causes for it to stick to the ears.
As being contrary to other methods applied on aesthetic plastic regions, correction of ears with bulges is generally done with the children to relieve them from unnecessary mental stress.
